About us:

PNOinsurance is a privately owned insurance broker based in luxe modern offices in Malvern East. The business is growing rapidly and we are looking for an experienced administrative professional who can manage our office and provide business support services to our team of 50 professionals.

About the role:

Essentially this role provides general administrative support across all areas of the business, ensuring the day-to-day office activities are operating effectively and efficiently – you will be the go-to person!

Other responsibilities will include;

  • Creating end of month reporting across various areas of the business
  • Following up on account issues, liaising between internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining and create workflow standards and company documentation ensuring company policies and processes are being adhered to
  • Assisting the Receptionist as required with answering enquiries/phone calls, visitors, housekeeping, refreshments
  • Supporting people and culture functions with new starters, intranet content, company events
  • Acting as first point of contact with management of technology across the business

About you:

We are a team of motivated and energetic individuals and that’s what we are looking for when we recruit at PNO – you will need to be someone who walks in the door with a smile on your face and who generally enjoys making a contribution when you go to work. You should be an extremely strong communicator who is articulate in writing as well as in verbal discussions. For this type of role, we would also expect you to have a natural eye for detail, be solutions-oriented, and to be able to manage multiple priorities within specified timeframes.

From a skill perspective;

  • Previous experience in a similar role providing high-level administrative support or office management to a business or individual is essential
  • This role has a lot of reporting support, so your superior Excel skills will be critical
  • You will be tech savvy and be able to support the business with basic front line IT support (backed up by our service provider)
  • We are not looking for an accountant, but an understanding of debtors and creditors is expected
  • You should be a lateral thinker who enjoys solving problems and removing roadblocks
